Color和Colour的區(qū)別是什么?
這兩個(gè)詞的意思相同，它們的拼寫是源于不同國(guó)家的書寫習(xí)慣。
Coloe用于美國(guó)。
Colour適用于其他英語(yǔ)國(guó)家，包括英國(guó)、澳大利亞、新西蘭等國(guó)。
The more common colours in English are: black, brown, geay/grey, white, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, green.
英語(yǔ)種常見(jiàn)的顏色有：黑色、棕色、灰色、白色、黃色、橙色、紅色、粉紅色、紫色、藍(lán)色、綠色。
Gray和Grey的區(qū)別是什么?
The same as with the difference between color and colour, it depends on the country.
這兩個(gè)詞的區(qū)別跟color 和 colour一樣，用于不同國(guó)家。
The word Gray is used in United States.
Gray用于美國(guó)。
The word Grey is used in the rest of the English-speaking countries (England, Australia, NZ etc.)
Grey用于其他英語(yǔ)國(guó)家，包括英國(guó)、澳大利亞、新西蘭等國(guó)。
Word order with colours 顏色詞的順序：
在一句話中用顏色詞描述某事有3種方式：
1. To Be + Colour. e.g. My car is blue.
To Be + 顏色.例如：我的車是藍(lán)色的。
2. Colour + Noun. e.g. The blue car is mine.
Colour + Noun. 例如：這個(gè)藍(lán)色的車是我的。
3. Colour is the Noun. e.g. Blue is the colour of my car.
Colour is the Noun.例如：藍(lán)色是我的車的顏色。

Light - Dark - Bright

Light is the opposite of Dark.

Bright: a strong colour that is easy to see.

• Helen has dark green eyes. Helen有深綠色的眼睛。
• His light grey hair made him look very distinguished. 他淺灰色的頭發(fā)讓他看起來(lái)很與眾不同。
The words Light, Dark and Bright are placed before the colour. Light, Dark 和 Bright這3個(gè)詞通常放在顏色詞之前。
Colours + ISH
If you are not exactly sure how to describe a colour, we normally use the suffix -ish.
如果你不知道怎樣描述一個(gè)顏色，可以在顏色詞后加后綴：-ish。
e.g. Greenish (= approximately green but not exactly green)
• The sunset is a beautiful pinkish-purplish colour today. 今天的夕陽(yáng)粉色中又帶點(diǎn)紫色。
• His shirt is lightish blue in colour. 他的襯衫是淺藍(lán)色的。
