遇到雅思生詞怎么辦？

1. 對于不影響做題的專有名詞，猜發(fā)音即可。在雅思聽力中，大部分的人名、地名等專有名詞，對做題都沒有太大影響，因此，我們只需要猜測其大致發(fā)音，在聽到時能夠定位即可。

2. 通過詞根詞綴進行推測。有些單詞看似復雜，但其實是由我們熟悉的詞變形而來的。比如真題中出現(xiàn)過的deforestation，詞頭de一般表示減少、去掉，而forest則是森林，所以我們可以推測出這個詞可能和砍伐森林有關(guān)。

3. 尋找同近義詞或解釋線索。有時出題人會在生詞處設(shè)置一些同近義詞或解釋的語句，來幫助考生理解。比如，真題中出現(xiàn)過蜜蜂身上的mites螨蟲這個詞，在后邊緊跟著的一句話是microscopic creatures which live on them，也就是住在蜜蜂身上的一種微型生物。在音頻中我們可以多留意in other words, which is, I mean等提示信息。

4. 根據(jù)上下文及邏輯關(guān)系進行推測。真題中有這樣一個句子：The bees are too big to pollinate some of the flowers. 根據(jù)蜜蜂和花的提示我們可以推測出，pollinate應該是傳粉、授粉的意思。

5.  如果填空題答案詞是生詞，考生可根據(jù)發(fā)音規(guī)則進行拼寫。大家也可以借鑒一些自己熟悉的詞，來完成生詞的拼寫，不要太受到意思的干擾。當然，每次做完題后，要將影響做題的生詞及時總結(jié)下來，不斷積累，提高自己的詞匯量。
