英語六級(jí)語法用法辨析之a(chǎn)t heart和by heart的區(qū)別

At heart 的意思是“在心里”、“心底里”或“本質(zhì)上”(from theheart，from the bottom of one's heart or essentially)。byheart 的意思是“背誦”、“熟記”(by rote;to learn so well thatone can remember it perfectly)。請(qǐng)看下面例句：

That socialite is a rascal at heart.

那個(gè)知名人士實(shí)質(zhì)上是個(gè)壞蛋。

A councillor should have the collective interest of society at heart.

英語六級(jí)語法用法辨析之介詞about, around, round用法

1. 表示“在……周圍”，三者?？苫Q。如：

They sat about [round, around] the fire. 他們圍火而坐。

注：在現(xiàn)代英語中，about 用于這種情況已不多見。

2. 表示“到處”，三者?？苫Q。如：

He travelled about [round, around] the world. 他周游了全世界。

3. 用在數(shù)字之前表示“大約”，一般用 about 或 around。如：

It costs about [around] ten dollars. 它大約要花 10 美元。

There are about [around] 30 bookstores in the city. 這座城里大約有 30 家書店。

注：在英國英語中，在表示時(shí)間的詞組里也可用 round。如：

He arrived about [round, around] 5 o'clock. 他是大約5點(diǎn)鐘到的。

I'll be back about [round, around] lunch time. 我午飯前后回來。

4. 表示把某物分給一群人中的每一個(gè)時(shí)，可用 round 或 around，而不用 about。如：

Will you hand round [around] the papers? 請(qǐng)你把考卷分發(fā)一下，好嗎?

但是通常不說：Will you hand about the papers?
